My first bike (apart from a Puch moped) was a YL-,1 and at the time I was studying at Auckland, which is about 500 kilometers from here.

I live in a rural town called Feilding (feilding.co.nz). I made several trips on the YL-1, and I have decided that I must have been much tougher then than I am now!!!

(Weren't we all, John...)

I guess that it is nostalgia which is motivating me, and when I came across one last weekend I couldn't resist buying it despite the fact that it has quiet a lot of parts missing, particularly in the engine. I am hoping to pick up a complete engine - in fact the project can't get off the ground until I locate one.

Anyway, here is a list of the parts I require :
