Testimonial Page

We never were really big on 'Testimonial' pages -- they always seem rather self-serving.

But more than one of our viewers has told us that folks like to see what others have to say about a product they might be interested in.

So, here are a few of the many nice comments we've personally recieved here at SwarfRat Studios; our distributors also tell us we're constantly getting great feedback.  We hope you find this info useful.

And to all our loyal viewers, thanks yet again for your support.

I received all the videos you currently have available for a Christmas present.  I would like to know when the next ones will be available…  I used your videos to learn how to use my Industrial Hobbies CNC retrofit mill and my Grizzly retrofit lathe.  I can not say enough good things about what you are doing…

Volume VI is a great addition to the series. I really enjoyed it and learned a lot. I sure wish I would have known back in the 60's that Zig Zag's were machinist paper!

I'm really thrilled to find a website that combines two of my passions: machining and vintage bikes (esp. Italian).  I'm reassembling a Morini 3 1/2 now and a Benelli 200 is next.  Keep up the good work!  Can't wait to see others in the Motorcycle DVD series.

Thanks for making something like this available.  Ive tried for the last 6 months to get into a night class at the local community college but do to the lack of interest the class has always been canceled.  These videos have brought together all the reading I have done about the subject and have given me a jump start.

Thanks, your customer service is excellent… I bought these because they were highly recommended by people in the yahoo groups, and so far I agree 100%.

I have wanted a mini mill for some time but because I have never taken a machine shop class I was not sure how to use it.  I have enjoyed your DVDs 1, 2 and 3 that I bought the remaining 4, 5 and 6.  As I start to use the mill I plan to view the DVD so I learn to do it correctly.  The quality of the video and the animation makes each DVD great!  Extremely well done.

I'm new at machining , but with your videos getting a year of education in hours.

I received the rental DVD and was very happy with the quality and information provided.   I returned it yesterday with the purchase option. I also ordered the remaining DVD's on your website and look forward to receiving them.

After reading a number of books which mostly address larger machines it is nice to have an educational source more specific to the machines I have. Thank you.

I received my DVD this morning and watched it immediately. I have bought a number of videos and DVD's on engineering subjects and I must say watching all of them is worse than watching paint dry, with some of them positively painful. What a breath of fresh air yours was, concise, to the point and extremely well presented. Thank you, I'm sure I'll be buying more of them in the future.
I just received the above DVD from "The Little Machine Shop" and after viewing, I ordered the rest. I know you've probably heard this before but what a wonderful job!!! This video really helped me!!
I just want to let you know that I find your DVD series on the Mini-mill to be Outstanding! Your presentations are very clear and easy to understand and I appreciate your emphasis on machine and operator safety. My first DVD was on the teardown and Tramming of the mini-mill. I was so impressed with that DVD that I bought the entire series. I look forward to seeing your next release.
First of all, let me thank you for producing your Mini Machines instructional series! I have found them to be quite useful and informative.
I just got the rental DVD today (#5) and watched it. I am so impressed with it, I want to purchase it as well as the first four.
Well, I got the package the other day and have watched 1,2,3,and 5 so far. Man! These videos are awesome! I am a total beginner, and have not even degreased my mini mill yet. I had lots of apprehension about what to expect and what types of damage I was going to cause, lol. But now, I am unbelievably confident that I will be successful right off the bat after watching your video instructions. You have done a great job and I really like the way you go into details that no doubt a pro would find mundane but for beginners it makes a huge difference to see the steps you perform in detail instead of just being glossed over. I had looked at wigglers and edge finders in catalogs before but didn't have a clue as to how they worked. Watching your instruction was not only fascinating but now I am anxious to try one! The same goes for many of the tools and techniques you described.
This the first video I have seen from your company and it was a pleasure to watch and listen and see one for a change done on a professional level, and not some of the dull boring stuff I have from other producers. Keep up the great work, and yes I would like to be on your mailing list...
First of all, would like to tell you that you're instructional videos are terrific...Its kind of special & encouraging when I can see an accomplished machinist turning out quality parts on the same equipment I now own.
I will be first in line for the Welding Series that you are planning... I have been looking for some good videos in that are for some time now and not been very successful. Anyway, I will be looking forward to anything that you guys might put out in the future.
I've watched the beginner videos by <deleted> and <deleted>, and while they are informative, the detailed breakdown of work setup and seeing things done on the same exact mill and the same tools I'm getting from littlemachineshop.com is extremely helpful. I plan to add a lathe soon, probably around the end of summer after I mostly finish equipping the mill and make room in the garage, so I hope you're working on a lathe series to match your excellent mill series.
